Susan Laramee retired in 2013 after 17 years at Sodexo, including ten years as manager in the company’s talent acquisition group. She previously was an account manager for Sodexo Healthcare. Susan also worked as a clinical nutrition manager, and a quality assurance and enteral nutrition manager at Massachusetts General Hospital. Susan has held many leadership positions in the Academy including as the 2004-2005 President. She is a past director and vice-chair of the Commission on Dietetic Registration; chair of the Ethics, Honors, Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo Program Planning; Publications; State Affiliates and Positions committees; and member and chair of the Academy’s political action committee ANDPAC. Susan served on the Academy Foundation’s Board of Directors, Scholarship Committee and Philanthropy Council. She is a past member of the House of Delegates; president of the Massachusetts state affiliate; and chair of the Pediatric Nutrition dietetic practice group. She was the Academy’s representative to the American Medical Association’s Expert Committee on Pediatric and Adolescent Obesity. Among many honors, Susan received the Academy’s 1996 Medallion Award; is a charter Fellow of the Academy; and received the Massachusetts Distinguished Dietitian of the Year Award. Susan is a graduate of Syracuse University and earned a master’s degree from Boston University.
