Medicare Advantage Part C

Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called Medicare Part C, Medicare+Choice Plans or MA Plans, are health coverage plans offered by private insurance companies or managed care organizations that contract with Medicare to provide Medicare Part A and B benefits to Medicare beneficiaries. Plans are state licensed and certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and are paid a flat monthly fee by the government to provide at least the same benefits as Medicare Part A and Part B coverage requirements.
