In addition to publication in the esteemed Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and other peer-reviewed journals providing comprehensive descriptions of the processes involved, the Academy employs a range of mechanisms to effectively communicate the research findings — such as engaging Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo^® sessions, informative webinars for nutrition and dietetics practitioners,  Academy dietetic practice group, member interest group and local affiliate online communities, social media platforms and the Academy's own member website. By utilizing multiple channels, the Academy ensures that the research outcomes have maximal reach and impact—fostering knowledge exchange, facilitating ongoing advancements in the field of nutrition intervention, and ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes.
